End of analyst program

For those that do not stay on as third year analysts/associates after the 2 year analyst program, what typically happens as the end date approaches? When does work seem to start to really slow down?

Can you take unused PTO and take a vacation right before the end of the analyst program?

I'd assume that as you become a more senior analyst, you become somewhat of an acting associate (helping younger analyst and mentoring them). Think of it as a trial run before actually being promoted to associate. Highly doubt the work slows down.

All of that assuming you stay and go A2A.

Great point, which is why I prefaced my answer by saying it's an assumption. I was attempting to help, but didn't exactly answer the question. If A2A though, would that be correct?
