Evercore Financial Sponsors Group

Hi! Am targeting this group in EU and was wondering what the interview process looks like in terms of the technicals? Is it mainly LBO stuff and calculating TVPI, DPI, and RVPI or will it be the standard accounting? Not sure what to expect.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for this. Bit of a random one, but in terms of the interview process, what would you recommend I prep for technicals? Not sure how to go about this.

Really can’t pinpoint, but would do 400, know LBOs well, be ready for a paper LBO also.

Then know about current market trends in private equity (fundraising, dry powder, outlook, exits…). And know a lot of Sponsor names and what they’ve done. E.g Ardian, BX, and Thoma Bravo were largest funds raised in 2025 and interestingly Ardian one was Secondaries.

Know who is on the team and what their background is to ask relevant questions in case there is an interview (easily can find on LinkedIn).

Very important to have a good excuse about why you want specifically this team at this firm and pitch yourself accordingly.
