Evercore RECA vs RESA
Hi folks, I was recently wondering what were the differences between RECA (RE Capital Advisory) and RESA (Strategic Advisory) groups at Evercore if any. Are they the equivalent of REGAL team at BB/something like Eastdil Secured or something completely different? It’s very difficult to find infos online and a distinction among the two groups. Any help/info would be really appreciated. Ps: just saw (LinkedIn posts) that RESA SA 2025 in London opened (and closed) around 6mo ago while RECA SA should open together with Generic Advisory/RX/PFG.
Just FYI, their Real Estate M&A group combined with RECA so it’s just one group. AFAIK though this is relating to their New York Office. I’m not 100% sure if the two prior groups will recruit separately or not going forward - previously, the RE M&A group took people out of the broader summer M&A interns.
