Facebook and Google interview dresscode?

Have 2 interviews for Facebook and Google.

I know they have a casual dresscode.

Is it okay to turn up in a jumper, t-shirt and jeans, or maybe a sports jacket and jeans. i think suits might be a bit of an overkill. no?

I've been wondering what you would wear ever since somebody mentioned that you don't wear a suit to a Google interview...

E-mail HR. Also, for what positions?

The difference between successful people and others is largely a habit - a controlled habit of doing every task better, faster and more efficiently.

You can go the safe path, which is a smart shirt and jeans, no trainers/sneakers, or if you're a real code monkey you can go with Iron Maiden or AC/DC t-shirt.

My friend at Google (at about $120k/year, his third year in) is a total code monkey: Long hair, AC/DC t-shirts all the way. He's super smart though. I mean really.

What you interviewing for? Sales or Engineer. My buddy in sales goes in business casual most of the time + suits ... you're the business face. If you're a code geek - go in whatever you like.

T-shirt too aggressive. And don't do fcking turtleneck - ur not steve jobs
