First round / screening call or not?
I cold emailed a banker for a coffee chat, and instead of replying, he forwarded my email to someone, who then replied to the original email saying " When works in the next couple days for an intro call?".
Im confused on if this is a screening call, or just a regular networking call? If its a screening call, why would they reply to the original email that I had sent to a different person and not just send me a new email? Why did the original person, who I had never talked to, forward my email to someone else who reached out to me?
I may just be having a tism or something, but Id love some clarity.
