Floating resume during internship
Hi All,
I am doing an summer internship in London at the moment at a BB. An consultant/recruiter from Hamlyn Williams reached out to me to discuss some opportunities at other firms. Now while I am doing quite well and have a good time at my current place, I do wanna know what is out there (in case the teams thinks differently about my performance).
She asked for my resume and I was wondering if WSO could help me out once more (helped me a lot for getting the SA stint in the first place). What are the experiences with Hamlyn Williams? And should I just send my most recent CV or should I first remove my name, contact address and names of my colleges and workplaces?
Many thanks!

What is this going to achieve, apart from providing a recruitment team with an extremely watered-down version of your CV which tells them nothing and makes you look like a muppet?
At the time I was worried that my resume might get leaked and the place where I had my internship would find out (which is easy to do with the non-target I am from, hence the anon version idea). Now in hindsight, just float your resume. Everybody understands you want to secure a job as a Grad (especially in the current environment). And recruiters don't send it to your current place, they do have some sense of commercial / common sense.
So yeah as somebody in the industry right now I would say, go for it.
