FT recruiting London
Does it make sense to pursue full time positions for IBD in London (BB)? And do you have any say in the group allocation or do you get placed into the teams that did not convert many SAs? Would be grateful for insights especially JPM/GS/MS
FT recruiting varies a lot. Last year only GS out of MS/JP recruited for FT. And GS was recruiting for groups that were least desired by interns (financing, FIG). This year as firms converted most of their interns due to the remote nature I doubt they would recruit (much) for FT - in most cases headcount is on standby (at my bank and from what I hear from friends).

MS did also have some FT Recruiting for Tech and some other teams, but very few seats (got some friends joining)
Interesting- friend working at MS said they would only consider off cycles to recruit them for FT. But I trust you, may have just been his team and not a firmwide policy
