FT with no SA return (London)

Hi everyone,

Was an SA at a European BB in London with no return offer, still got some strong feedback but long story short had a particularly big f***k-up that, combined with some headcount restrictions meant no offer.

Currently trying to decide how to approach re-recruitment and essentially wanted to hear ppl's thoughts on my chances and what to prioritise between FT recruitment and saying I want to do a masters in order to apply to SAs as a penultimate year.

To add to my profile (still quite vague sorry) :

- UK target undergrad entering final year with first class honours and extra awards

- Fluent in 2 European languages

- Strong previous internship in non-finance sector that I think is quite specific so won't state it (not to dox) and some consulting experience

- Decent leadership extracurriculars/student societies

- Other small extracurriculars/work experience

Any help/perspectives would be greatly appreciated !!

SA in London here too. Curious to know what the large fuck up was if you don’t mind sharing, as still waiting for decision.
