Can't believe people are answering this seriously lmao - clearly a troll.

Sorry if I seem like a troll, just a student asking stupid questions due to lack of experience. I didn't even think of the lobby- my internship doesn't have one, so visitors/food just come right to my desk because our office is so small. Now I feel troll-ish for not thinking.

Yeah, just a recommendation as such, don't let other people see your girlfriend. You should meet her in the lobby and don't let other people see her. Now, this might sound extensive but people tend to judge others with other people they associate with. Don't ever bring her up to the office.

Umm...shouldn’t your SO be someone you are proud to show off? That’s what I always strived for and ended up with. My goal was to have colleagues ask how did you end up with her? She’s better than you. And, that happens.

I just prefer people not meet her in the work environment, rather at a social event. It is just a different tone and vibe.

If she's hot, you're damned, because then everyone (except for guys like @Lloyd BIankfein", who like taking it in the ass), will want to hit it. If she's ugly, your damned as well, because then everyone will wonder why you can't get a decent looking girlfriend. So my advice would be don't do it.

"Samuel.a.barnes" If you are embarrassed of your girlfriend you're doing it wrong.

Sounds like we have a sentimental and idealistic one here boys

I make my GF meet me in the lobby.

She's an NYC Model, and very attractive. I actually don't want my colleagues to see her, because I don't want them to think that I was too busy chasing girls in college / am a douche for having a super hot girlfriend (you'll be surprised how many people think like that).

Play it safe, meet her in the lobby or at a cafe / restaurant close to the office. They can meet her at a Christmas party or another special occasion.

Weird flex, but ok
