Houlihan vs Arrowpoint vs Alantra - London Office

Hi all,

Keen to get anyone's thoughts on the three firms in the title. All for lateral analyst hires - coming across from FDD background.

Arrowpoint is a generalist role vs HL which is Business Services and Alantra in their Tech team.

Any LDN bankers out there - would really appreciate some input! Ta.

At first glance it seems like Houlihan is the obvious choice here. As far as I know, they are a much stronger name than the other two, being one of the leading mid-market advisors in London

I don't know if this is still the case, but I heard a couple of years ago that Alantra paid well below market

If I was in your situation (without knowing any more about team-specific culture, salary, etc.) I would 100% choose HL, but I welcome responses from people more familiar than me

This in London? I know they don't have MD's as part of the structure in London. Keen for further thoughts though.

Appreciate peoples thoughts - does anyone know about HL London office, not a huge amount there and not got a wealth of information during the process. Is it sweaty?

Unsure on this - they work pretty autonomously but wouldn't see it being impossible.
