How do some people have it all?

I know a few people who get interviews everywhere they apply and pass all those interviews to get offers. What is the secret of their success? This is in London so networking doesn't play as big of a role as it does in the US.

Sick and/or very applicable experiences, great GPA, hard quanty major, great uni, diversity, family connections, great networking

I honestly think there's a sort of spectrum that combines intelligence with personality, and that ultimately results in likability.

So I do think there's certain people who have struck a very good balance between being smart/prepared but also personable and can really engage with others. Not everybody has that. Some people are near-geniuses in some aspects but completely lack any social skills (many traders fit this mold). And the opposite is true as well.

Idk, just some thoughts.
