PWP - Low conversion rates (as always) (10-20% ???)

JPM - roughly 15% offers  (~5/30) mainly finance programme students

Citi - roughly 70% from what I heard

DB - Conversion results out end of Jul. (2 months after ACs). Lots of people got rejected already, Diversity students got culled.

Lazard - Strong conversion rates (as always). Seems like their cohorts are more diverse these days.

Barclays - They gave a bunch of offers out to mid candidates in random division - barely seen any IBD

Would love to hear some insights from Evercore, Rothschilds, Morgan Stanley if anyone has heard something. Bear in mind, I did not attend all of these springs, just some things I have overheard from friends and seen on LinkedIn.

 Diversity students got culled.

Culled 😂

Lazard - Strong conversion rates (as always). Seems like their cohorts are more diverse these days.

FWIW, was about 40%, not sure if thats strong rates

JPM - roughly 15% offers  (~5/30) mainly finance programme students

Higher than 15%

Barclays - They gave a bunch of offers out to mid candidates in random division - barely seen any IBD

Capital markets rate was high, not Sure about ibd

 Morgan Stanley

Decent, >= lazard rates

Evercore,

Don't think AC's have taken place yet for all, will always be low at around 20-30%

Rothschilds,

More complicated because of women's programs, but will be about 50%, massive SA cohort for an EB

Thanks for the insight.

I am pretty sure JPM is accurate for IBD. During the SW, there was a mock interview on the final day to determine whether they got ACs and there was 3-4 ACs of ~8 people for IBD. Depending on whether you take AC figures or applicant figures you get different %s. But roughly 5 got offers for IBD. All my knowledge was regarding IBD returns, don't know much about any other divisions this year.

I didn't have a % figure for Lazard, but from what I was hearing I was expecting much higher - maybe there is a selection bias ofc. Rothschilds is a weird one, they also do that SocMob summer insight w Upreach.

2 months after AC???? WTF. UK firms HR departments are a joke haha. Why would they do this if they have already significantly cut candidates?

Email provided says "Due to the number of candidates assessed"...

How hard is it to assess 50 candidates, 50% of which you already rejected, in 2 weeks as promised. I know a lot of people have taken up offers from other firms in the meantime as it is taking so long.

Probably a headcount thing, end of July they probably know if they had too many or too less interns and can adjust the class? (Wishful thinking)

That sounds terrible. I haven't even seen one UBS summer post on Linkedin either

Anyone know if GS still fast tracks to AC? Or is it completely non convertible now
