How is smoking weed looked upon un NYC banks?
Now that weed is legal in the city, any of you guys open about smoking habits in the office? Is it still looked bad upon?

You can’t speak freely about it in the office by any means. But I’m sure the analysts talk about it in private amongst themselves…just don’t be stupid about it…

Not something that gets talked about openly. I would kind of look sideways at someone who talked about it at work, maybe if you're at an analyst pregame it will come up, but I wouldn't say it's significantly more widely accepted than it was a year or two ago. Only difference is you can buy it in public
Think it’s cool w your peers at the a/a level but that’s it.
It's not federally legal so would take the conservative view that a minority of people are going to be put off by it, but in banking, all you need is a minority of people to not like something you do for your career to go sideways.
