Have an offer for a firm I much prefer (think boutique VS top BB/EB) and made it far in the process of a VC seat. Ultimately my end goal is VC. Any repercussions of reneging boutique, then reneging BB/EB if I get the VC offer?

I second this - no bank will think twice about firing you/rescinding your offer for no fault of your own (I speak from experience) so renege if you have to
