How to improve at tasks where you read between the lines?

Hi all - just wondering how to get a lot sharper at tasks that require reading between the lines?

I'm fine with them, but feel I do these pretty slowly and was wondering if there's a better method to go about these / any way to practice these outside of an AC/test setting, to get quicker.

They're the tasks like work out who is sitting at a table and where with cues like;

- "Jenny is a vegan, sat with a stranger

- Ben eats meat

- Joe is sat with his best friend."

etc...

Definitely not my strongest point at the min and would love some tips.

Thanks!
