HSBC Holidays email

Hi all, I know recruiting for London SA 2025 is over but I got an email from HSBC right at the start of the holidays telling me they were still interested in my profile and would soon be updated accordingly, I previously got the email about having met their requirement for the OA/HV. Is there any worth in emailing HR/contancts at this point?

Would appreciate any insight, thx!

I don't have any special insight here, but no, I don't think there's any worth in reaching out.

I think (just how you've phrased the question) that you know this already, and I get where the frustration and desire to have closure comes from. The reality is that you're likely on a waiting list, and reaching out isn't going to change that (HR didn't forget your application, and this isn't some kind of test). Also remember that today is first day back at work for most people after the holidays. I know it's different as a student but the value of the holiday period rockets once you're employed, and I doubt HR were doing an awful lot over the holidays (as a banker I certainly wasn't inasmuch as I could help it). So a bit more patience might be best.
