HSBC IBD vs. Deutsche Bank IBD (London)

Hi guys

Since Deutsche is currently struggling big time and it's unclear how the bank is going to do in the near future, would you say that a bank like HSBC is better for IBD first year analyst in London? HSBC hired ex Goldman EMEA head so they are making hires to revive its investment bank.

Would you say HSBC opens doors to top BBs or EBs and what are the positives/negatives of the bank?

Figures are overstated for Morgan Stanley VPs. Base salary for FO VPs is anywhere between £95k and £130k with a median near £110k. Bonuses vary a lot across producers and non-producers, I’d say the median is around ~£50k
