IB from Judge business school

Is it possible to get into IB after completing the Masters in finance from Judge business school , UK? I don’t see many people on LinkedIn when I search IB and judge business school together. Let me know if I’m search it incorrectly.

Thanks in advance

I didn't study there but talked to some... Yes, unfortunately you are right that Cambridge Judge Business School doesn't recruit well for IB. I still don't understand why tbh given the brand itself is strong, but part of that is the cohort issue imho they accept like 50-60% of all applicants, usually from India/outside of EEA and they are already in a bit worse position given the need for sponsorship, language fluency problems etc. The ones I know who broke into IB were British/completed their undergrad in the UK.

I believe MFin candidates (post experience) tend to get headhunted at LBS and Cambridge as opposed to applying to structured programmes available for everybody. The people getting headhunted usually have strong experience beforehand. I know a director at JPM who did the MFin at Cambridge, he initially worked at Citi in S&T and got headhunted by JPM for a very similar role post-graduation. Also know a lady from LBS who worked at Legal & General's AM arm before getting headhunted to Apollo and a number of other hedge funds while at LBS. I haven't come across any IBD, but as far as I know Cambridge's MFin is up there with LBS who do often have candidates break into IB after graduation, if that provides any assurance.
