Besides PE, Corp Dev, and maybe FP&A, I don't really see a lot of heat when recruiting for other types of spots.
Most PEs I deal with are snobbish. Corp Devs are boring and companies seem to want accountants for FP&A positions. I am getting looked at by a couple of hedge funds, but most prefer equity research people.
Where are those promised exit opportunities? Where? Is this a big lie?
