IB recruting chances for an international student at M7
Currently at a T2 consulting firm in London. Considering doing an MBA to recruit for IB as an associate. Would apply for HBS, core finance M7 schools, and Stern / Johnson for back-up finance schools. Would any recent mba (summer) associates or unsuccesful candidates be able to shed some light at current chances of geting the job as an international student (non-diversity). How did recruiting go at your school?
If you’re a Canadian citizen it’s very possible because they know TN is a back up option just in case you don’t get H1B.
TN can’t be used to work as a financial analyst. Reality is that many people can just be easily replaced and firms likely won’t want the additional hassle
