IB Secondary Advisory Role

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well. As the title suggests, what does one do in secondary advisory at an IB on a day to day basis? I have seen the posts for PE secondaries but not advisory. I would appreciate if you could shed light on the following areas:
- What is your day to day role like as a junior, and how does it change as you become more senior (apart from becoming involved in origination)? Is it mainly doing pitches, setting up VDRs, reaching out to potential buyers?
- What is your WLB/ comp like relative to primaries/ private fundraising? (specifically in the UK)
- What makes an excellent analyst in secondary advisory? How can one add the most value to a lean team?

Thank you in advance,
VormundBanker
