IB Workload

Just wondering how you guy's Workload at work is? Heard a lot of "maximum of "real" work everyday is 2-3 hours" is that true? Is there much free time? (Depends on season ig) But what are you doing in your "free time" at work? Can't just start watching a Netflix show ig.

Thx

Lol not sure where you get your sources from, but there is really no "free time". Essentially you'll be on non-stop buyer or mgmt calls across your deals during the regular workday, meaning that you can't get much done until the evening (unless you're a freak with effectively multitasking deliverables while facilitating such calls or you were fortunate to only have to dial into calls without having a speaking role). Around 6pm is when things calm down and you can finally begin grinding away the work you've been needing to crank out. At a high level, this is why bankers tend to work late nights...
