IE Masters in Finance

What is the current take on the IE masters in Finance programme?

The content of the programme looks very appealing. However, I am wondering, what is the London IB placement like for non-Spanish speaking students?

Also, if anyone studied at IE I am curious to hear what your experience at the business school has been like.

Thanks in advance guys!

Have first-hand experience with the IE MIF. Content-wise not bad at all, first semester will be a bit basic if you have prior experience and know what NPV is but it’s a good recap. Second term will be more challenging and in-depth after which the electives have a wide array of choices where you can get very specific specialisation.

In terms of LDN recruiting, it is not the best school. Career department is also practically non existent. There are events with the top banks but if there was already even a shot at landing an interview through such an event, here that would only be for the Spanish offices. The only people I know who got decent offers in the UK are the ones with prior experience or a daddy in a high position. If you are not confident that your current experience can land you an interview, I’d advise you to go to the top target schools LSE, LBS, HEC or Bocconi. I believe ESADE also places better than IE, just check on LinkedIn how many alumni of each school are in the top banks in London.
