seeing every damn post on this website from analysts complaining about how shitty WFH has been has me a bit nervous
Yeah, I have seen a quite a few say it has been quite shitty but luckily some of the analysts I've spoken to at where I am interning have said it has been a blessing. Not sure what to think...
Interning at an EB in NYC this summer. I just really want to know if we are doing in-person, online, or some sort of hybrid. Not in any group chats or anything as I haven't updated my LinkedIn or reached out to those going to be in my class (HR hasn't sent out the incoming class list).
Really hoping my internship for next summer is not virtual. I did a BB internship in asset management last year virtually and it was pretty bad. Really grateful that I had the opportunity but it was filled with diversity/inclusion calls and meaningless practice work.
Incoming analyst in Chicago, worried about wfh and would love to at least have a hybrid model. Still deciding if I want to do banking 100% and would need the office to make that decision
Incoming SA at a group that’s a known sweatshop with avg. hours somewhere between 85-105 hours and highly technical work. Worried that I am going to colossally fail because I have basically finessed my way through college thus far and the previous internships have been relatively light on work.
