Industry Coverage vs. M&A for Junior Level (Analyst/ Associate)??????
As a junior-level banker, is having a specialization in an industry better, or should you start with M&A or product groups? Would love to hear the pros and cons for both. Also, assuming going for PE/HF, would there be a difference?
