Industry Groups: Barclays VS Deutsche Bank (London)

Hello Guys,

Correct me if i'm wrong but Barclays and DB always close to each other in the league tables. Or in other words, if you would get an offer from both for the same position it would be a hard choice?

Anyhow. How do industry groups compare between both banks in London?

For example: B Healthcare > DB Healthcare

Is one of both banks in one of the industries way better than the other one?

thx!

ps: as a reminder here are some industry groups:
Healthcare
Natural Resources (Oil & Gas and Mining)
Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT)
Financial Institutions Group (FIG)
Industrials
Real Estate Investment Banking
...

They are so similar that no one reading your resume will give you any + or - points for being in one group versus another. I have no idea how good any of Barclays' industry groups are relative to Deutsche Bank's industry groups, and league tables vary year-to-year.

It's not a hard choice - go with the group you fit best in and whose people you like the most.

Barclays nat res and FIG are good. The rest are middling at best.

People tend to think life is a race with other people. They don't realize that every moment they spend sprinting towards the finish line is a moment they lose permanently, and a moment closer to their death.
