Career Resources
All of the American analysts I know in London did study abroad in the UK, applied for internships while there, and then took offers in London at the end of the summer. It's very rare that you can apply from the US with no affiliation to the UK and get a job, as their recruiting is Europe-wide.
BTW I'm American and in grad school in the UK...just offering some credentials :)
