Is Asset Finance "investment banking"?

Am considering an asset finance opportunity and was wondering whether asset finance is generally considered Investment Banking, Corporate banking, or commercial banking?

Also, what are the exit opps from a asset finance role from a MM bank?

Thanks!

No, I don't think it is asset based lending. It's an asset finance role that involves 3 main products: securitization of receivables, supply chain finance, and receivable purchase programs. Is that considered IB, Corp Banking, or Commercial banking?

also, just out of curiosity, is asset based lending considered IB, Corp Banking, or commercial?

Thanks

Securitization is an IB product because it's raising capital through debt Instruments (ABS/bonds), but I've seen structured trade finance fall under corporate banking (Citi)
