Is it possible to apply to UK off cycle coming from non finance background?
Hi all, I'm currently an LLB law student at a non-target, and have always been interested in IB. I'd love to gain experience and learn more about the industry through an internship at a bank.
After doing some research, I found that off-cycle internships tend to be longer, which provides more opportunities to get involved in a deal from start to finish. However, my relevant experience is limited, I’ve 1 PE internship with Project Destined and earned a few Bloomberg certifications.
Given my background, is it worth applying for an off-cycle internship? If not, what would you suggest I do to gain an experience in IB/PE/HF etc
