Is on demand video interview selective and was I screened in specially by someone- Bank of America 2025 IB Healthcare analyst London

Hi everyone,

I applied to BofA Healthcare London Analyst 2025 role. I initially got a rejection within 2 weeks. Then a couple days ago I got a email saying this was done as an error and then got asked to to the on-demand video interview for the role.

Mind you, I am feeling like even doing it will probably mean it’s a rejection. It sounds to me like maybe they forgot to give the “compulsory” video interview before just throwing it in the dustbin.

However, what I want to know is:

  1. Is on-demand video interview for BofA healthcare analyst role in London an automatic thing or is it selective?

  2. Is the error in initially rejecting me genuine or did someone screen my application and thought I should be given a 2nd chance (lol low chance but trying to optimistic)

  3. Why did I initially get rejected without a hirevue (on demand video interview) in the first place?

Interesting, I imagine it’ll be a rejection in that case purely because by now many more people would have done HV and they would’ve got a good idea of who they want already.

Was this for the same job (Healthcare Analyst at BofA London)? I did my HV so tough to say how it went but I don’t know when we are supposed to hear back
