Is RBC now the lowest paying bank on the street?
What the title says? I am seeing that Bases for analyst are 95-100-105 and then it seems like that is the lowest on the street.
Asso pay seems to be more on par, but I cannot find enough data. Can anyone confirm?

By street are you referring to EB/BB+RBC? If so, yeah I believe so in base. Idk about bonus, but prob not too impressive at RBC
Yes, I mean I would expect RBC to pay around UBS/DB/BARC pay, seems like they are similar in this category. Maybe I am wrong but these banks seem like they should be similar in Junior Comp.
BARC comp set for pay includes other Tier 2 BB such as BAML/CS/Citi/etc. not UBS and DB
What's Associate pay like?
Looks like 125-150-175 from WSO database. Can anyone confirm it this is true? Seems like that is the low end for street now.
WSO database does not necessarily reflect latest comp. I don't know what the current status of RBC comp is, but my understanding is that street comp for AS1/2/3 is now: 175-200-225 base
Dang that's killer. I assume bonuses are 80-120%
depending on the shop, group performance and many others can swing as much as 50-150%
We will get a good proxy this year. Associate bases just went up so I'm really curious to see whether banks compensate off of a total comp number (ie less bonus) or as a percentage of base which could potentially raise bonuses if the percentage is high enough. Should be a good barometer for the next few years in terms of comp assuming comp this year is higher than average given the amount of banking fee pool which was generated.
It's 5k lower for associate: 170, 195, 220
RBC suffered a bit from being one of the first to bump base salaries because then everyone went out and raised it over that amount. It sounds like they're trying to make up for it with bonuses though. There was an article about RBC bumping junior bonus pools to a higher level recently.

Guys pls respond ASAP. We need to know for sure or RBC pays a tiny bit less than other banks. That 5 or 10k difference pre-tax is a huge data point.
I think the difference can be as high as 40K between the BB and RBC over 2 years and that grows to 75K in 3 years. I mean that's a good chunk of student loans for some people.
C’mon dude. I have friends at rbc, it pays just as well as any other bank if you’re top performer. I can’t help myself when college kids who have zero offers start focusing on nonsense.
While there may be a small difference mid-bucket to mid-bucket, consider that it's probably a little easier to get to top bucket at RBC as a junior vs a big BB (I'm at RBC). If you're a strong performer here, they throw out the red carpet -at least in my group.

RBC analyst here. Received $100K bonus, second bucket. Top bucket got $120K. Clearing $200K all-in so I'm pretty delighted with the comp.
