Is Rothschild Public?
I'm so confused about this. Looking at their statements, they're publicly traded with ~40% float, but everyone I talk to there says they're private. I would appreciate some insight. I tried looking up the ticker on a trading app, but couldn't find it.
Ticker ROTH on the Euronext.
There are multiple companies bearing the family name, which may be the source of the confusion. The investment bank is public.
Thanks. Is there any reason why the people there say they're private then?
Public as LSE: ROTH, but lot of company is owned by family trust, which is complicated and not a lot people know much about how it is operated. A controlling share of the company is still owned by the family. Source: used to work there
