Is starting AN1 stint early a good idea?
Graduating early & HR just gave the option to begin in early next year, vs. end of summer with the rest of the incoming analysts. Does it make sense to jump in asap or is it risky in the current economic environment (e.g. first hired, first fired kinda thing)?

I had the same option as well. I'd say just have nice 6 months of free time before you start
Travel, hang out with friends and family, etc.
You won't be getting time like this anytime soon
The early start doesn't add a substantial advantage imo
