ISA and IRA Opinion and Advices

Hi,
I am 1st year analyst and I want to start saving/investing for the short and long term.
I know that in the UK the most important tools to use are ISA and IRA.
I was thinking of maximising my pension contribution to the point that my employer matches them and to maximise my annual allowance in ISA (with 4k in the lifetime pot and the rest divided between stock and cash).
Then if I have something extra I will probably input it in a Roth IRA account.

Do you have any advices on what platform to use to open my accounts (like lower fees, greater choice, ecc.)? And do you think I should use the platform's already created portfolios or build mine up with a mix of ETF/Indexes and individual stocks?

Thank you so much!
