I don't see how you'd ever get looks for something like GE/VC coming from an infra background. Jefferies hands down unless you want to end up in infra investing / IB.
From what I have heard the infra advisory team has very good deal flow and people went to all the prominent infra PE’s (KKR,Apollo, MIRA, Antin etc).
No knowledge on the Jefferies team.
Macq is top tier in Infra. But if you are not passionate about the sector - ie want to do VC/GE it's not where you want to be. Jeffs has a good TMT and HC teams and they both place quite well in VC/GE - note that you will work hard (aka do not expect to have a social life even on weekends).

curious as to the non BB/EB standings in London. what would be the ranking between the likes of Jeff, RBC, Macq, HSBC etc?
There is a link maybe check it out?
Hey,
I was wondering if you got the Jefferies offer through a spring week, since I haven't seen anything from them about opening for Summer Internship applications in London and I was hoping to apply? Thanks
