Joining a BB as a capital markets analyst - anything I can do to prepare?

Hi everyone,

As the title says, I'm graduating in a couple of weeks and will be joining a bb as a global capital markets analyst in their London office. I just wanted to know the things to do so that I can improve before work starts and get ahead of the game. Any do's and don'ts will also be greatly appreciated.
I’m also unsure what kind of bonus would be paid out to these roles and how to manage personal finances. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

You will learn everything on the job, but always good to brush up on Excel / PPT. Capital Market usually isn't super technical, so wouldn't worry to be honest.

Bonus is lower than M&A, would expect 80% of the sector team, but depends vastly which bank you are at.
