JPM IBD London 20% return rate??
Everyone knew this year wasn’t going to be easy but posts on this forum are suggesting JPM IBD is between 20 and 30% surely that just can’t be right? Can any interns reconfirm??

If interns could spend a bit more time checking their horrible slides and spend a bit less time on TikTok, we wouldn’t have this issue.
I can confirm that return rate was low (but your 20%-30% is exaggerated)

Market obviously lol. Summer interns are horrible every year. As long as they are pleasant enough to be around 6 months of full time on the desk will mend most of their shortcomings.

JPM is a terrible bank and no one should ever sign an offer there. Does not care about juniors in the slightest. Anyone with a JPM offer should lateral to a respectable boutique shop. Coming from a JPM USA intern who faced similar rates in my group

Friend of mine who interned at JPM and got offer said return rate across IB was 60%. However, apparently some groups were absolutely brutal but not sure if it was due to low intern quality of low headcount.
