How long does it take staffer / HR to evluate applications before kicking off interview process?

I had submitted an application 20 days ago and staffer knows it but not invited for interviews yet.

Thanks

Investment Banking Mock Interview

“Felix Herbert Fricke was very knowledgeable and kind. He gave me thoughtful, constructive feedback on my presentation, highlighting what worked well and where I could sharpen my message. He also shared valuable insights into Moelis, including how the firm operates and what sets it apart. I especially appreciated how upfront he was about the lifestyle and working culture, which helped me set realistic expectations and think carefully about my own fit. Overall, it was a genuinely helpful conversation, and I left with practical takeaways.”

Investment Banking 7 Stories Review

“Julius was very helpful! Our conversation was efficient and collaborative. He gave specific, actionable feedback on my interview stories, shared recruiter contacts, and offered to be an ongoing resource. I left with clear next steps and appreciated his generosity with his time and thoughtful advice. He took time to understand the thinking behind each story before offering feedback. His suggestions helped me see which examples to strengthen, which to replace, and how to make my banking experience more central.”

For my process, I heard within 2 days of applying. You’d suspect that you won’t be getting the call if you hadn’t heard by now.

JPM hires fast. I would move on. Unless there were 500+ apps this is a long time to be waiting.
