KPMG Corporate Finance and Transaction Services
What's the difference between them? I am quite confused after reading their website (referring to the UK one). In one post there are people saying TS is more similar to IB, anyone has any thought on this? Thanks in advance.
I have been trying to figure out the same myself. Anyone with experience with KPMG can touch on this please?
Also, one thing to note is that KPMG's groups are very integrated and often people don't even know what group they are working for. For example, EVS - economic valuation services, is a part of their corporate finance group, but also cooperates closely with transaction services, and often you'll see KPMG hiring for both groups at the same time, giving you the option later to choose where you wanna work. So as I said, it's pretty integrated and thus the confusion of who does what in which group..
Thanks for the clarification. So as I understand it, their focus would be more on Middle Market companies, and they do everything short of capital raising?
