Not really.
Some teams in London might have language requirements like FIG for example as they have subgroups. If you’re recruiting directly for that role you will know it will be in the job description.
Otherwise there is no language requirements. Plenty of Brits here that don’t speak any other languages. Banks in London tend to have more diverse classes than say.. big4. That’s because if you’re French you can do big4 in Paris but for IB you’re probably applying to London.
There are regional based teams so you will have offices in Paris and Milan where obviously language is required. Those recruit directly not via London.
