Lateral Move - Top EB Analyst vs. Tier-2 BB Associate

Fortunate to have received two offers as an experienced hire. One offer is for a mid-level analyst position at a top boutique (think Jefferies) whilst the other is for a junior assocaite at a tier-2 BB (think RBC/Santander).

Difference in comp, at least base, is large (~$20/25k) given difference in seniority. Is it worth taking a pay cut and a step down in title to join a stronger brand or should I refuse to job level and join BB as an associate?

For context am an Aso1 at a MM

Congrats on Santander 😂

No but srlsy if it is Santander def depends on group. If RBC take that.

Prolly just don’t want to be an analyst again bc that would suck
