Just wanted to get a feel for what teams are best in London here? I have interests in Consumer, TMT and FSG but wanted to know if anyone has a broader ranking of all teams at this shop.

Bump on industrials/business services insights
They’re not a big player in European industrials or services - mostly box standard €750m sellsides, a CIM factory and even then miss out on a lot to GS / MS / JP / Roths. Culture is fairly sweaty. Exits are ok but again not on the level of the aforementioned names, but you could still easily place at an MM PE. I can’t imagine these teams are the best in Laz’s London platform but then I can’t speak to the other teams
Not sure what is happening with this shop. Most teams in London operate as subsidiaries from US / EU. Even doing adm tasks while US / EU run the deals
Heard they’re recruiting from places likes Edinburgh. Would avoid entirely…
TMT London is absolute shit. There’s a good MD in Paris and most deals from there. London just help on the dead work and don’t actually get staffed on anything. They have even been helping US office on admin tasks.
