Leaving a Banking grad scheme to go to a larger bank within a year.

I've just started my 2nd rotation (7 months in on a 2 year programme) on a Corporate banking grad scheme at a more regional/mid-market bank in the UK. I've just received an offer for another grad scheme which got pushed back due to Covid at a larger, more international bank within one of the CIB teams which covers a sector more up my alley. How would I go about resigning given its been less than a year and I still havent actually met anyone in person at the bank since I've been WFH the whole time?

I was planning on being upfront and letting them know that despite enjoying the role, long term the new position seems much better in terms my own aspirations, exit opps and pay. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

you don't need to make a show and dance of it, just resign as per normal to your manager/hr. in the grand scheme of things nobody cares if you leave, you are the least experienced and least trained person in the team and are inconsequential
