Leaving the office early?

All,

Currently lateraling into IBD as an Associate and wanted to check one thing, especially for those in London/Europe. Happy to get answers from fellow US colleagues as well.

Can you currently leave the office around 8/9pm and finish working from home? Can it prevent you from being promoted/is it seen in a bad way?

Thanks

It's entirely group dependent. I would ask some of the associates if it's important to you. Some groups clear out at dinner, and some groups everyone is butt in seat until midnight or later.

I will say, anecdotally it seems like being able to leave early is becoming less common as return to office takes more of a hold
