LON SA: Roth M&A v BAML M&A
Thoughts? Have spoken to some in the City that have advised taking Roths - but it tends to get lots of heat on this forum for being an MM sweatshop. I did like the culture as I did a spring there last year, so that's a plus - and their base is slightly higher than BAML (62 v 60 GBP). I have however heard that PE and b-school exits from BAML dominate those from Roths. Any thoughts?
I would go with BAML
If exit opps (incl B-school) is a key consideration, then always go for BB. If not, choose whatever place you think had the better culture
Would take BAML. Had friends who interned at both places this summer and the conversion rate at Roth seemed a lot lower. Also BAML brand better globally and will yield greater exits.
