London Analyst Vacation Time Allocation?

How do Analysts take their time off in London? I have 25 days given to me annually but I'm unsure how to spend that. I'm 99% sure taking the whole 25 days off at once would be ridiculous. But would 2 weeks be appropriate in summer or Christmas time, given that things start to cool off then? I have family in the states so I am wondering if 2 weeks is an option, 1 week at least? I would hate to come home for only 3 days and be off again lol.

I was thinking 1-2 weeks off for trips back home, then a few long weekend trips for swiss skiing etc.
