London banking – Oxfords or Derbies??
Just curious if there are any of the two that—according to (?old-fashioned?) British customs—is more preferred for formal occasions, especially IB (internship). Is there any of the two that will be more (dis)approved of by older-generation (Managing) Directors?
Not that huge of a deal these days tbh, you just don’t want to stand out because of your shoes/outfit in general. Just get a pair of black oxfords and you will be fine
How about loafers?
Generally fine, maybe not as an intern to be safe
