London Business School MIF VS. MBA in US

Just wondering if anyone has more information about this. Appearently London Business School's Masters in Finance Program is ranked well by quite a few employers (http://www.london.edu/mif.html).

How does it compare to some of the MBA programs in grad school's in US?

If you know you want to work in finance.

The MBA is not as prevailant in Europe as in the US. The MiF can be great compromise because you can get the MBA type of experience on LBS campus altough MiF is really more work and more focused.

LBS students recently won a high profile Asset Management competition. The team was to MiFs and an MBA. Competing against the best MBA schools in the states.

Many of the people on the MiF also come from finance, again, very focused.

Cheers,

F
