London conversion rate (SA 2022)

Old news, but seems like London conversion rate for SA 2022 was quite good? Can anyone with more news confirm? A lot of friends in London have converted, are there still hiring freezes now? How's the conversion rate over there in the States? Seems like most decent students converted and are doing well

Will next recruiting cycle be bad, or is the worst already behind us?

Is that almost entirely due to the economic situation, or what do their conversions usually look like?

i heard evercore london this past SA was pretty brutal - i know a lot of the interns there, very strong backgrounds and solid sociable people, who didn’t get the conversion

some do a master's, some just take up corporate jobs and hope to lateral. A friend who didn't convert BLK did a masters

Terrible. If it weren't for my bank offering me a second internship (I'm in my final year of uni now) I would've been so screwed. I did investment banking (product) at a BB but my group had different hiring needs so didn't convert. I've only had one first round interview, and didn't even progress to the AC. I haven't heard back anywhere else for FT... Extremely tough market... I'm just crossing my fingers that I am able to convert my internship with the bank this time around.
