London Corp Dev Comp

Tryna get some colour on corp dev/ strategy comp at UK/ EU companies, for post analyst stint in IBD, any guidance would be appreciated. Thinking about doing Corp Dev later down the line, but was wondering whether it’s best to target US businesses ( for potentially better comp?) or whether across London comp is generally the same?

Was recently in the process for a Corporate Development  analyst role at a communications infrastructure company. Base was c.£75k with a 10-15% bonus. Manager base was between £90-95k I believe.

Ignore title.

I’ve worked in several corporate development roles from analyst-manager roles and UK/US firms.

Comp range for FS firms always higher than non-FS. I wouldn’t put too much weight on a US company paying more than a UK firm. Comp is generally the same for US and UK firms in London/UK from my experience.
